Safe, respectful, and trustworthy

These guidelines explain what is and isn't allowed on Lida. By using Lida, you agree to follow these rules.

Welcome to Lida. Our mission is to create a safe, respectful, and trustworthy platform where people can build meaningful connections.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent account termination.

Respect Everyone

Treat every member with dignity and respect.

Do not:

  • Harass or bully others.
  • Threaten or intimidate users.
  • Use hate speech or discriminatory language.
  • Share content intended to humiliate or shame someone.
  • Encourage violence or illegal activities.

Be Honest

Create authentic profiles.

You must not:

  • Pretend to be someone else.
  • Use fake identities.
  • Misrepresent your age, gender, or relationship intentions.
  • Impersonate another person or business.

Keep the Platform Safe

Never use Lida to:

  • Scam users.
  • Request money or financial assistance.
  • Promote investment schemes.
  • Conduct phishing or identity theft.
  • Sell stolen goods.
  • Share malware or harmful links.

Respect Privacy

Never share another person’s:

  • Phone number
  • Address
  • Government ID
  • Financial information
  • Private conversations
  • Photos without permission

Appropriate Content

Users may share:

  • Relationship-related content
  • Friendship-related discussions
  • Community activities
  • Educational discussions
  • Lifestyle interests
  • Pet-related discussions

Content must remain respectful and legal.

Animal Breeding and Pet Matching

Lida recognizes that users may wish to connect regarding pets and animals.

The following are permitted:

  • Arranging responsible breeding between privately owned animals (for example, dogs or cats).
  • Finding suitable breeding partners for healthy, legally owned animals.
  • Discussing responsible breeding practices.
  • Sharing information about pet care and responsible ownership.

However, users may not:

  • Promote animal cruelty.
  • Organize illegal wildlife trade.
  • Buy or sell protected or endangered species.
  • Arrange animal fighting or any form of animal abuse.
  • Promote irresponsible breeding practices that violate applicable laws.

Lida reserves the right to remove any content that encourages animal abuse or illegal activities.

Illegal Activities

Do not use Lida to:

  • Buy or sell illegal drugs.
  • Traffic weapons.
  • Promote human trafficking.
  • Commit fraud.
  • Organize criminal activity.
  • Distribute illegal content.
  • Promote terrorism or violent extremism.

Sexual Content

Lida is designed for meaningful relationships. Users may express romantic interest respectfully.

The following are prohibited:

  • Pornographic content.
  • Explicit sexual content.
  • Sexual exploitation.
  • Soliciting sexual services.
  • Non-consensual intimate images.
  • Requests for explicit photos or videos.

Children and Minors

Lida is intended only for users aged 18 years or older.

Any attempt to:

  • Create accounts for minors
  • Contact minors
  • Exploit minors

will result in immediate removal and may be reported to appropriate authorities where required.

Violence and Dangerous Behavior

Do not:

  • Encourage violence.
  • Threaten others.
  • Promote self-harm.
  • Share graphic violence.
  • Encourage dangerous challenges.

Commercial Activities

Reasonable business networking is allowed.

However, users may not:

  • Spam advertisements.
  • Send unsolicited promotions.
  • Operate pyramid schemes.
  • Recruit users into fraudulent businesses.

Reporting Abuse

If you encounter:

  • Fake profiles
  • Harassment
  • Scams
  • Impersonation
  • Illegal activities

please report the account immediately using the in-app reporting tools. Our moderation team reviews reports as quickly as possible.

Enforcement

Depending on the severity of the violation, Lida may:

  • Remove content.
  • Issue warnings.
  • Restrict account features.
  • Suspend accounts.
  • Permanently ban users.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement when legally required.
