Complete Lida’s verification process whenever possible. Be cautious of anyone who refuses to verify their identity.

Never share sensitive information such as:

• Bank account or card details
• Passwords or verification codes
• Government ID numbers
• Home address
• Financial information

Be cautious if someone asks for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial assistance, regardless of the reason.

For your first few meetings:

• Choose a public place.
• Meet during daytime or in a well-lit location.
• Arrange your own transportation.

Before meeting someone:

• Tell a friend or family member where you’re going.
• Share your meeting location and expected return time.
• Consider sharing your live location with someone you trust.

If something feels wrong, don’t ignore it. You are never obligated to continue a conversation or meet someone.

Be cautious if someone:

• Avoids video or voice calls.
• Moves the conversation off Lida immediately.
• Pressures you for personal information.
• Declares love very quickly.
• Makes excuses to avoid meeting while asking for favors.
• Tries to isolate you from friends or family.

Treat everyone with kindness and respect. Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, or abusive behavior are not tolerated on Lida.

If someone makes you uncomfortable, violates our Community Guidelines, or appears to be a scammer, report them immediately. Our moderation team reviews reports promptly.

You can block any user at any time. They will no longer be able to contact you through Lida.

Whenever possible, continue chatting within Lida until you’ve built trust. This helps us investigate reports if needed.

If you meet for a meal or drinks:

• Watch your beverage being prepared.
• Never leave your drink unattended.
• Don’t accept drinks from someone you don’t trust.

Create an authentic profile and represent yourself truthfully. Honest relationships begin with honest introductions.
